Booking conditions

These booking conditions apply to all stays at Myrkdalen Camping.

Generally

You must be 18 years of age or older to book a stay with us. If you are under 18, you must live with a parent or guardian.

Stay at Myrkdalen Camping is intended for temporary accommodation and cannot be used as a permanent residence.

We may reject guests who do not meet these conditions. In the event of rejection, the right to a refund will be forfeited.

When is the order binding?

The order becomes binding when you have received confirmation, regardless of whether the order was made online, via email or telephone.

Arrival and departure

Cabins:

  • Check-in from 3:00 PM

  • Check-out before 11:00 AM

Campsite:

  • Check-in from 1:00 PM

  • Check-out before 12:00

The campsite must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Change and cancellation

You can cancel your booking up to 7 days before arrival. If you cancel later than that, you will be charged the value of 1 night's accommodation, in addition to an administration fee equivalent to 10% of the value of the booking.

Interruption of stay

If the stay has already begun, no refund will be given in the event of early departure.

Your rights

If we cannot make the reserved cabin or campsite available as agreed, and cannot offer a satisfactory alternative, you have the right to cancel the agreement and receive a refund of the rental amount.

If you discover any errors or deficiencies during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to correct the error.

Your duties

As a guest, you are responsible for the rental property throughout your stay.

You are obliged to:

  • take care of the cabin or campsite

  • follow the rules of order in the area

  • compensate for any damage you or your travel companions cause

  • Do not allow more people to stay overnight than the number of people booked.

  • return keys and any access cards upon departure

  • leave the cabin tidy

Failure to deliver keys or extra cleaning may result in additional costs.

Violation of the terms

The agreement may be terminated with immediate effect if you or anyone in your travel party:

  • acts disruptively towards other guests

  • causes damage

  • uses the cabin or campsite for purposes other than those agreed upon

In the event of such violations, you must leave the area immediately. No refunds or compensation will be given.

Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and our privacy policy.

Complaints

If you have any questions or would like to make a complaint, please contact us. Myrkdalen Camping as soon as possible.

Force majeure

Neither you nor Myrkdalen Camping is responsible if your stay is affected by extraordinary events beyond our control. This may include war, natural disasters, floods, strikes, prolonged power outages or water damage, fire or other similar events that could not have been foreseen or avoided.
